The GLOBAL shift for iPhone manufacturing has been started from Indias Foxconn
manufacturing plant.
This comes as good news for iPhone customers in India as one can expect lower
pricing for the same phone if imported.

For long Apple has been blackmailing Indian government to provide extra tax
benefits to set up its manufacturing base in India under MODI's Make in India
Programme.
Eventually, due to prevalent Geopolitical circumstances, it was necessary for
Foreign manufacturing plants to rethink their dependencies on China and search
for a an alternative.
All in all Make in India programme, Lowest Corporate Tax , Geo-Political
balance, US china sanctions have all made India a Beneficiary in Shift of
manufacturing bases for Foreign manufacturer.
